A square PNG with a transparent background works best, ideally at least 512×512. QRQuick centers and scales non-square sources to fit. If your logo doesn't read at small sizes, consider a simplified mark for favicon use.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

Accepted Answer

No. Generation runs entirely in your browser. The image is decoded, drawn to a private canvas, and packaged into a ZIP locally. Nothing is uploaded.

How do I install the favicon on my site?

Unzip the pack into your site's root, then paste the contents of head-snippet.html into your <head> tag. The snippet wires up favicon.ico, the 16/32 PNGs, the Apple touch icon, and the webmanifest.
