Dynamic QR Code Generator

A dynamic QR code encodes a short redirect URL — for example, qrq.co/abc123 — instead of the final destination. When someone scans the code, their phone resolves that short URL, which forwards to whatever destination you've configured in the dashboard. The QR pattern never changes, but the destination behind it does.

Why use dynamic QR codes

• Fix mistakes after printing. Wrong URL on 10,000 printed flyers? Repoint the QR in the dashboard — every flyer starts forwarding to the correct URL on the next scan.
• A/B test landing pages. Route 50% of scans to variant A and 50% to variant B without changing the printed QR.
• Track scans over time. See when scans happen, roughly where from, and what device the scanner used. Compare campaigns side-by-side.
• Reuse a single QR across campaigns. Print one QR on permanent signage and swap the destination for each new promo.
• Detect tampering. Sudden geographic shift in scans can indicate a printed QR has been stolen or copied.

When static QR codes are still the right call

Static QR codes win when the encoded data doesn't need to change and you don't want or need scan tracking. WiFi credentials, vCard contact details, one-off event URLs that you'll never reuse — all of these are simpler and more reliable as static QRs. Privacy & data

QRQuick Pro's dynamic QR will log only what's needed for the analytics dashboard — timestamp, approximate location from IP geocoding, and device type from the user-agent string. The scanner's identity is never collected. Scan logs roll up to aggregate metrics; raw logs are retained for a configurable window then deleted.
